CLNW Drive May 16

Hi members,

We're going ahead with our drive on Sunday May 16 at 10:30am. Meet at Pendleton Mills, Washougal, just north of Hwy 14. Our destination is Bonneville Dam on the WA side. The Visitors Center is open with bathrooms. Bring your own lunch, folding chair , and a mask (required for the Center). Return is either by Hwy 14 again or cross over at the Bridge of the Gods and I 84 for you Oregon guys.

I definitely plan to attend. The cars have been parked for too long! I don’t think I am brave enough to bring the Seven on a journey that long, so it will most likely be the Elise.

I finally corrected the suspension travel issue on the 7, which it had NONE before. But with suspension travel came bump steer, lots of bump steer! A bit scary when going around a turn and hitting a bump. I will need to address that and change steering rack location and some suspension parts before taking it on longer drives.
