Hello Dave:

You'll see below a replica of the brand new poster for this year's Western Washington All British Field Meet (WW ABFM) car show as well as some information, and an opportunity to simply "click" to register for the event.

The members of the Evergreen Lotus Car Club (ELCC) hope that at least a few members of Club Lotus Northwest (CLNW) will chose to take part in this enjoyable car event, which is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th.

While the WW ABFM might not be the extravaganza of an event, like what happens with the Portland event, we think our local British vehicle event is pretty great, plus (as you'll notice) we are going to feature a bunch of British vehicles driven by "James Bond" in "his" various movies. We have gathered a number of carefully representative British vehicles for a special display area on the Show Field, and you'll probably notice a white Lotus Esprit on the poster... this was a car driven by "James" in "The Spy Who Loved Me", which temporarily turned into a submarine, and after some under water activity, drove up and out of the ocean onto a beach... thereby gaining the nickname of "Wet Nelly". We won't have this actual car in the display, but we will have a sample of the Lotus Esprit Turbo that "James" drove up the mountain to go skiing, in "For Your Eyes Only".

We'd really like it if a few of your club's members parked in the Lotus Area at this year's WW ABFM along with our members.

Doug Jackson, Acting Chairman of the ELCC

Registration Is Open

Hello, Fellow British Car Enthusiast!

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Western Washington All British Field Meet on July 11th at St. Edwards State Park! This year’s show looks to be spectacular!

St. Edwards is the perfect venue to view over 300 British cars and motorcycles displayed on the grass fields.

In addition to the great venue and show, there will be multiple food trucks for you to enjoy a treat while attending the show, and don’t forget the Friday night packet pick-up dinner. We will have Mark Jones (Britsport of Seattle) and Steve Day (British Car Ranch) talking about “How to acquire, sustain, and maintain your new ‘old British car’.

This year’s show theme focuses on the history of James Bond's Cars, with a spectacular display of 007 cars in the center circle.

Registration is now open, and general information about the WWABFM can be found at wwabfm.com.

We hope to see you at the Northwest’s premier British car show on July 11th.
