Good morning Jerry.  The best shop I know of, and who I use, is Acme Welding in Portland.  I had Duane redo the front of our Elise to get rid of the license plate box and the two whiskers on the lower front of the clam after the center of the clam was lightly damaged.  He does phenomenal work.

Retired?  Poor excuse.  I'm guessing that a quality paint job involving little or no body work and color sanding and buffing would be upwards of $10K.. Base coat alone is over $1K/gal.  Am I in the ball park?

I'm planning on painting my S1A in the months ahead.  Once I finish the restoration and the paint job is top quality, I'd be honored to tackle your TCS..  My completion target is end of coming summer.  My fee is materials plus cigarette money.

Wow I’d be thrilled to find someplace that would do a quality paint job for $10k. Been getting bids to paint my Mangusta and most are over $60k even though the current paint and body are nearly perfect (just want to go back to its original color).
