Season Overview, Regionals, Summer

Club Cochise Members,

Another season of Club Cochise Volleyball came to an end this weekend
with the final region tournaments taking place. It was a successful
season for Club Cochise Volleyball and I am proud of all our teams and
members.

Club Cochise continued its Boys season with an instructional team this
year. We hope to see them all back next year along with a few more so
we have enough to attend region tournaments. Help us spread the word
for next year! Tryouts for boys are normally held in September.

The Girls season followed, and we fielded 4 teams, and welcomed new
coaches.
Brett Garcia, Dion Schaefer, Brittany Whitely, and Volunteer Lindsay
Hergert all joined us this year and did a great job. I hope they all
consider joining us again next year.

Our Instructional team had high numbers this year and learned a lot in
preparation for competing in future years of their volleyball careers.
Coach Marlee and Marsha did a great job and the girls all worked hard
and improved. If numbers are similar we will consider a travelling
12/13 team. The 14's team finished their season winning the Club 14AA
Silver Division Championship (41 out of 84 overall). The 16's team
finished their season in 3rd Place overall in their Division ( 3rd out
of 46 overall) and the 18's team finished as the 18 Club Bronze
Division Champions (33 out of 48 overall). Congratulations to all the
girls and Coaches on your seasons!

Next, Club Cochise Volleyball is working on camps for the summer and
the Sierra Vista Grass Volleyball Series.
