Here's mine: the word trivia itself... Trivia comes from two Latin
words; tri (three) and via (road). So it literally translates as
"three roads" This may sound a little obscure... It originated from
Roman days; where ever three roads met there was a board with all
sorts of local information on it, hence the name trivia.
