Calling for newsletter submissions.

Dear colleagues,

It is time for another issue of the CLTA-VA newsletter. I am writing to collect information that you would like to share with the group. Some suggested ideas include:

1) upcoming events and programs in the field;

2) Many of you have had the chance to get together for a fun and productive weekend on the beautiful campus of William and Mary. Please share your reflections, your comments or high resolution photos about the event.

3) news in our field - new publications, new development of the Chinese program at your institution (public schools, private school, weekend school, colleges, training centers, etc)

4) teaching tips - Did you try out a marvelous new tool? Did you implement a new teaching activity that worked wonders?...

The newsletter serves as a tool to connect us throughout the year as we each devote to our individual programs. It can be a source of support, encouragement and inspiration. I hope to receive a lot of input from you! Please send these in as soon as you can, but by November 8th. Please understand some submissions may not be included in the newsletter due to overall consideration.
