When I view the GitLab repo I see this scary warning at the top of all views.  Marios does not see it. I will post a query about it but assume that the university's GitLab is about to expire?  They are self-hosting in a VMware cluster in a building on campus and I would be surprised if I am an owner.

At the same time, I will ask if we can open the svn repo the the end-of-life timeline and final release branch of c17_branch.  The entire svn repo still exists but is closed for writing.

sound like a  plan?

thanks
Gary

I just submitted a ticket with the screenshot, asking if the University's GitLab is about to expire.  I also asked about opening c17 on the svn repo for the end-of-life release of c17.03

thanks,
Gary

jsmilb0 added a note to ticket #23993:

Hi Gary,

I thought I had completed the renewal process for the GitLab license some time ago, as I received an email about it in August. I am checking with their support rep to see if something fell through the cracks on their end, and will let you know once the renewal is completed.

The SVN repo for cloudy has been reopened for write access.

Best,

Jon

gary's original ticket body was:
About a week ago I started seeing this scary warning when I browse the GitLab repo. Other users see it too. I wonder if the UK GitLab subscription is about to expire? Screenshot is attached. A different issue. We have the clone of the old svn Cloudy repo setup on this machine, as read only. That does have the old release branch of the code. We would like to do an end-of-life release of that branch as we move onto releasing from the new mainline. Would it be possible to open the Cloudy svn repo for write access for a few weeks? thanks, Gary

The GitLab license should show up for me to download/install on the renewal date. The current license has a 14-day grace period, so it will continue to work as expected until 11/27.
