Hi everyone!

First off, I want to say thank you for Troposphere. I've been introduced to it 4 months ago. We've been using it to deploy our stuff at scale in AWS, managing resources in multiple regions and even aws accounts. Py + Tropo make our lives easier every day.

We recently decided to dip into Azure, and we've been hard at work mirroring Tropo to work with Azure Resource Manager Templates. These use the same concept as CloudFormation.

Is anyone else doing this? Would anyone else need it?

And finally, would it make sense for troposphere, the open-source project, to handle Azure and multi-cloud?
I'm asking this from a maintainer's perspective.

Thanks!
Vlad

Definitely looking for Azure support.  I'm currently looking for troposphere to provide this type of support.

While terraform is multi cloud, it has a lot of issues recreating things when it shouldnt.  I don't like the idea of maintaining a state file when a cloud provider can do that.
