How to have cloudlets execute after being queued up?

Hi, I am having trouble with the simulation ending without all of the cloudlets submitted to broker executing. It says postponed execution in the log since there's limited VM space but the simulation ends after the three or so out of 100 cloudlets execute on those VMs.

Also, what's the recommended way to add VMs and Cloudlets during the simulation?

Hello Kaiyi,

Try to reduce the simulation minTimeBetweenEvents attribute. 

However, if all your VMs are submitted statically, you may face this kind of issue.

There is no recommended way. You should use what best fits your scenario.

Check the different ways to submit VMs and Cloudlets in features 10 and 11 from the CloudSim Plus home page:

10. Delay creation of submitted VMs and Cloudlets, enabling simulation of dynamic arrival of tasks (#11, #23);

11. Allow dynamic creation of VMs and Cloudlets without requiring creation of Datacenter Brokers at runtime, enabling VMs to be created on-demand according to arrived cloudlets (#43);
