Please give me reliable references about energy consumption onn cloudsim

Hi  all ,

1- what changes would be needed to apply to a placement strategy deployed on cloudsim to be deplooyed on a real cloud scenario.

2- what function has been used to measure energy consumption once I used the planetlab dataset!

Is this energy consumption realistic? What part of the energy consumed by a system is really measuring (also the algorithm execution, only the nodes)? 

3. What are the different functions for measuring energy?

4.  the latest trace of VM workloads released more recently. The trace I have found is  the planetLabfrom 2011.
