iFogSim Tutorial

Hello,

Is there any tutorial available for iFogSim?

I have downloaded the source code from here but I am unable to understand how that works.

Any help regarding examples/ iFogSim is appreciated.

Hi,

At the end of the download URL you will find the steps off installing iFogSim in eclipse environment as follows:

create an empty java project

inside the project create clone git repository and add the source URL as shown in the download URL

Finally, you can run one of the two examples in the package or.fog.test.perfeval e.g. VRGame.java

I have successfully cloned and build the project but unable to understand how the simulation works. I am unable to understand how VRGame works. I have tried debugging but still no luck.

hi you should command this getCharacteristics().setId(super.getId()); code in fogdevice class in line 127 and run again

Yes the code run successfully when we comment getCharacteristics().setId(super.getId()); ........Can u please guide me what is the error with this line ....
