hi  , I have 1 q ..... I want to implement an algorithm for decentralized load balancing in cloud computing so that each host can decide on his own load and is associated with other hosts via message ...can  i use cloudsim for this job ?

Hi
Yes you can use cloudsim to implement load balancing
you should make multiple data center or make multiple host in data center

tanks,  but how can I implement massage passing between the hosts ? in my project each host based on load information of other hosts decide to migrate virtual machine  from itself to another host , this is  a decentralized load balancing algorithm and I  think so different with existing algorithm on cloudsim.

 ur welcome
yes u can. it's not a complicated code.
for message passing u should at first implement message class and message format then implement send and receive method in the host class.
u should know receive method is as a blocking.

hi

but how can i know which hosts are neighbor together  in cloudsim? actually,  in my algorithm  each host sends  messages to his neighbors .

thanks
