dell-s4048 switch availabilty

Hi CloudLab Team,

I am currently trying to reserve some dell-s4048 switches, but none seem to be available right now. According to the hardware availability page, they are fully booked for at least the next two weeks.

Could you please confirm if this is a system error, or if they are genuinely fully reserved for that period?

Unfortunately, both of our Netscout Layer 1 switches have now failed.
These are the switches we used to interconnect the L2 Dell and Mellanox
"user allocatable" switches to nodes and to each other. So we can no
longer dynamically form layer1 topologies. I took the L2 switches out of
service to prevent their allocation.

While we have made no official decision, it is likely we will have to
retire the user allocatable switch infrastructure as replacement parts for
the Netscout switches are expensive and hard to come by (assuming we even
knew what had failed).
