source bashrc returns illegal variable name.

Hi,

I have been using d8545 nodes for a while. However, starting from yesterday, when I perform source .bashrc, it would return Illegal variable name. At first I thought this might be due to my modification to the file. I terminated the instances and restarted for a few times, but the problem persists even if I do not change anything in the file. I have been using the default small-ian profile with Ubuntu 20.04.

How should I proceed to fix this issue?

Hi. We have not seen this problem before, so we will need a link to the
experiment status page of an experiment that exhibits this problem.

I have been getting d8545-10s10305 or d8545-10s10501 after terminating and relaunching the nodes. The problem persists on both nodes.

By default, your login shell is `tcsh`... so you cannot run `source
.bashrc` without first entering a `bash` shell; this seems most likely
to be the reason for the error. (Your .bashrc `source`'d fine for me
from a `bash` shell.)

You can change your default login shell to `bash` via
https://www.cloudlab.us/myaccount.php .
