Hi Cloudlab Admins,

I require SR-IOV support for an experiment.
According to the documentation of the PCIe device I have in the node, the hardware supports SR-IOV, but it seems like it is not enabled in BIOS.

Could you please help enable it in the BIOS (only for the master node)?

It should be under Integrated Devices-> SR-IOV Global Enable in the BIOS menu.
Feel free to reboot the system anytime.

I really appreciate your help with this experiment.

Thanks and regards,
Chathura

Hi Chathura,

SR-IOV Global Enable is already set to "Enable" by default in the BIOS settings on our c6620 nodes.  I have confirmed that this is set on your master node (er043), so there must be something else going on here.

Best,

Hi Aleks,

Thank you very much for confirming, that is good to know.
I will check it again when I reserve the nodes.
I was unable to resolve the issue before my experiment concluded.

Best regards,
Chathura
