Hi all,

We have been informed that there will need to be a full shutdown of the MEB datacenter on Thursday, September 11 from 7:30-8 AM MDT.  This outage will cause all Emulab cluster nodes (pc3000, d710, d820, d430) and switches to power off.  Given the length of this downtime, out of an abundance of caution we will likely be shutting off equipment on our UPSes as well to avoid any sudden power cuts.  This means that the CloudLab portal will likely be inaccessible during this time as well.

As always, we encourage you to save off important data from your nodes prior to
the downtime, in case of any hardware issues following restoration of power.

Hi all,

Just a reminder that this is happening TOMORROW, from 7:30 to 8 AM MDT.  As an addendum to the previous announcement, we have found out that a couple of panels will likely be staying up, so we will be working on a way to keep the Portal online.  You should be able to access the CloudLab Portal tomorrow, but there's still a chance that it will be inaccessible.  If you are using any Emulab resources (pc3000, d710, d820, d430), we encourage you to save off important data from your nodes prior to the downtime, in case of any hardware issues following restoration of power.
