Hello Cloudlab Team
I have a running experiment on CloudLab r6525 node 290 (
https://www.cloudlab.us/status.php?uuid=7b419f67-03cb-11f0-af1a-e4434b2381fc). I'm trying to enable SEV-SNP on this node to replicate the artifact from this repository:
https://github.com/svsm-vtpm/SVSM-vTPM-artifactsTo proceed, I need admin assistance to enable specific BIOS settings following the instructions here:
https://github.com/AMDESE/AMDSEV/tree/sev-snp-devel#prepare-hostThe required BIOS settings are:
CBS -> CPU Common ->
SEV-ES ASID space Limit Control -> Manual
SEV-ES ASID space limit -> 100
SNP Memory Coverage -> Enabled
SMEE -> Enabled
-> NBIO common ->
SEV-SNP -> Enabled
I have a reservation on this node for the next 23 days. If possible, I'd also like to know if there's a way to reset the experiment while retaining node 290 in case the kernel gets stuck during reboot (which I've seen reported in mailing lists). This would help avoid having to start with a new node and request these BIOS changes again.
This should be a one-time setup effort. Thank you for your assistance!
Best,
Tianyi
