Unable to Make Reservation in CloudLab

Hi Sir or Madam,

I hope this finds you well. I am a Ph.D. student currently using CloudLab for my research on training deep learning models, which requires substantial GPU resources. Recently, when I attempted to submit a reservation request for nodes (e.g., c4130 type with GPUs), my request was automatically denied with the message:

“Not allowed to reserve resources in this project.”

I want to clarify that this issue does not appear to be related to resource availability, but rather a restriction tied to my project membership. Currently, I am under the LSUCloud project. Could you please let me know why reservations are not permitted in this project, and whether there is a way for me to request access or switch to a project that supports reservations?

Access to dedicated GPU resources is critical for my research, as each training cycle is computationally intensive and time-consuming. Without the ability to reserve nodes, my experiments and progress will be significantly hindered.
