EDID block 0 (tag 0x00) checksum is invalid

I am seeing messages of the following form in the syslogs for some c6620 nodes in recent experiments:

EDID block 0 (tag 0x00) checksum is invalid, remainder is 99

For example, these are happening on node15 of my current experiment:

node8 is also displaying slightly different messages:

EDID block 0 is all zeroes

These messages don't appear at all on most nodes; on nodes where they appear, they seem to occur every ~10 seconds.

AI tools seem to think these are the result of DRM probes for a monitor device that doesn't exist; is it possible that there is an issue with the BIOS?

I am not seeing any other misbehavior from the nodes with these messages, so perhaps they are benign, but I thought I'd mention them in case they are of interest to you.
