Unavailable resources error

Hi,

When I try to run an experiment on an xl170 node, I receive the following error:

`*** 1 nodes of type xl170 requested, but only 0 available nodes of type xl170 found`

However, when I check the resource availability, it shows 12 nodes available. I’ve tried submitting the job several times using this node type but haven’t had any success.

Could this be because the nodes are reserved? If so, is there a way to check whether a resource appears available but is actually reserved in the next few hours?

That is almost certainly because of reservations. You should just use the
reservation page to make your own reservation.
