Hello,

I am writing to request assistance with a disk image creation that was interrupted when my experiment expired.

Although the image appears in my list, it displays no size. When I attempt to attach it to a node, I receive the following error: Could not lookup image at the image server: urn:publicid:IDN+wisc.cloudlab.us+image+fardatalab-PG0:200g-starrocks.be-8:1

Could you please clarify if the image is still in the creation queue or if it has been deleted? This image contains critical data, so if there is any way to salvage or recover it, I would greatly appreciate your help.

My username is amoghjos.

Thank you,

Amogh

There is a version out there from 9:38am MST this morning. You should be able
to access it using ":0" at the end of that URN instead of ":1". Version 1
never got created by the looks.

If you have problems accessing it, let us know.

OS images are not an efficient way to store your large datasets. You should use
a remote dataset instead _unless_ you need to use this data at multiple
clusters. Remote datasets are per-cluster and you would have to have one at
each cluster you are using (Wisconsin, Clemson, Utah) and keep them in sync.
But if you are just using Wisconsin, please use a dataset.

And you should always backup your critical data outside of Cloudlab. We
provide working storage for active experimentation, not long-term storage.
