Mellanox firmware update fails

Hi,

I'm using xl170 with Mallenox [ConnectX-4 Lx] NIC. I need to install MLNX_OFED, but it seems to be unable to update the firmware so the installation keeps failing.

I believe it used to work several weeks ago. So I wonder is there anything changed?

Any help would be appreciated.

Xl170’s NIC uses dell’s OEM firmware which is locked and couldn’t be updated. You can just ignore this error message; your OFED will still work.
