Hi Cloudlab Admin,

Could you please disable Intel VMD for this experiment in the BIOS?
I only need to disable VMD on the "master" node of the experiment.
This is for passing through the NVMes present in the node, which is not possible with VMD enabled.

Feel free to reboot the system anytime.

I tried to disable VMD through software, but it did not work.
Really appreciate your help on this.

Best regards,
Chathura

Hi Cloudlab admin,

A gentle reminder, could you please help me with this?

Also, could you please enable PCIe AER support in BIOS?
This is for debugging some of the PCIe-related errors that I am observing.

Here is the location where these options are located in BIOS:
1. Intel VMD: BIOS menu -> Advanced > Chipset Configuration > North Bridge > IIO Configuration > Intel VMD Technology > Intel VMD for Volume Management Device, set it to disable.

2. PCIe AER: BIOS menu -> Advanced -> ACPI settings -> PCI AER support, set it to Enable.

Best regards,
Chathura
