What i want to know is where these bi-lateral agreements (Microsof and
Red Hat, or IBM and Juniper) are in relation to the OVF, which
announced v1.0 last year. True interoperability begins at the
infrastructure layer and then propegates upward through the supporting
layers of middleware, applications, and services. Only when we have
true portability can we say the technology has moved from a vendor
lock-in to an open solution.
