Google CloudCourse - Missing Link

Many of us have been experimenting with Google Docs/ Blog / Sites / and apps to create dynamic online learning environments.  

The "Missing Link" is a way to track activity and accomplishment of students.

Is there a way to use Google analytics to track user progress?  Can we see a graph or chart showing the pages accessed by students in a given site?  Is there a way to have a single sign on for Google Groups AND Sites AND share specific Google Docs?

I think we are very close to a very dynamic tool.

Here is a simulation of what I would like for my course.  This chart would be unique for each student, and accessible only to the teacher, and perhaps a parent or mentor:
