Cloud Computing Opportunities: Locations Nationwide

On behalf of one of my clients, a Big 4 consulting firm leading the charge in Cloud Computing, I'm seeking experienced IT professionals with Cloud Computing experience to join their growing teams.

My client is seeking qualified individuals for two roles - namely, Architects/Managers and Architects/Consultants.  Both are true consulting roles in which the incumbents will deliver Cloud Computing technical expertise and thought-leadership to customers across North America.  Naturally, both positions require travel to client sites on a Monday through Thursday basis.

Both positions have similar responsibilities – see below – but the respective requirements differ.  Below is a summary of the two positions and the respective requirements:

CLOUD COMPUTING ARCHITECT/MANAGER – POSITION REQUIREMENTS

*   4+ years experience with Enterprise Java (J2EE or Spring, Hibernate) or .NET architectures 

*   4+ years experience with object oriented programming languages (Java, C#). Any other relevant languages (Groovy/Grails, Python, Ruby On Rails) is a plus

*   1+ year of relevant experience and expert-level knowledge designing and implementing architectures in Cloud Computing environments.  e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google App Engine, Force.com, or, Microsoft Azure

*   2+ years experience with performance and scalability tuning of high-volume websites / applications

*   3+ years relevant experience designing, implementing and monitoring application architectures running on and taking advantage of a dynamic (i.e. not running on a static number of servers) virtual server environment (i.e. Xen, VMWare Server)

*   1+ years relevant experience with Parallel and Grid Computing Technologies

*   Ability to travel Monday through Thursday

*   Minimum of Bachelor\'s degree

*   Consulting experience highly preferred
