I see the pricing is per MB. Is this pricing.

$0.05/MB of Bandwidth in and out?
$0.05/MB of data stored?

The way I see it if you charge for either one it could easily be
abused by the other case. Also what is the overhead in terms of
storage? If you created a cache with a 5 byte key and a 5 byte value,
what would the size be? What about 2 records like this? Information
like this allows you to determine real world costs, these numbers are
way too fuzzy.

Thanks for a great question. We'll update the site to make this more
clear.

This is for storage. Let's take the simple case of 1 MB stored at the
beginning of the month and kept in there the whole month. That's 5
cents. 2 MB for half a month, also 5 cents, 4 MB for a quarter of a
month, 5 cents. In fact we monitor usage on a continuous basis
(several times an hour) to figure out the total "MB-Month" used.
Also, we don't add any overhead for these calculations. We are
working diligently on the ability to see your own usage history.

We do not charge for bandwidth. You may wonder how we do this. Note
that caching in general, and certainly our focus, is low-latency. We
anticipate that the best and bulk of usage of CloudCache will be from
within the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud, and therefore not incur
bandwidth costs. However, we do leave the service accessible from
outside of EC2 for development and testing purposes - but your
performance will definitely be way better from within the cloud.

We hope you'll try the Free tier, up to 5 MB-month - perhaps that
would give you more insight into usage.

Thanks Again!
