Web Detection feature in Vision API - Image Support Query

Does the Web Detection feature in Vision API Supports searching  images of different size?.

Assume i am uploading a Image to Vision API to find all the Web References :

I have uploaded a Image of Size : 300X300 px

Someone has used this Image in some websites of site 150X150. Does the Vision API able to detect this and send me the usage Url ?

Also, Vice Versa does this works?. I mean if someone uses large size. (600X600). Will Vision API returns the URL or It only works with exact Pixel match ?

Vision API will detect resizes and populate them in the fullMatchingImages field. You can see that documented here: https://cloud.google.com/vision/docs/reference/rest/v1/images/annotate#WebDetection

I am looking for a query filter in the API for the results in pagesWithMatchingImages. I want to filter out only the urls for a given website. 

e.g show me only the results in pagesWithMatchingImages  if there is a image detected in the website www.abcd.com/  only

"pagesWithMatchingImages": [

                    {

                        "url": "https://www.abcd.com/images/test1.jpg"

                  }].

Currently i am getting urls from other websites also which i am not interested in.

Note :

I have a lot of images in my website. My objective is to search a specific image  available in my website using Google Vision API. earlier i thought of using Google Reverse image API. Looks like we don't have one. That's why i came here for the Vision API.

Hi Nirmal, we don't have an option in the api for restricting urls to a single website. However, you can postprocess the list of results to discard the urls that you're not interested in.

It looks like the image on delta.com is a crop of the query image - I think it's likely that web detection does not detect crops. I'll double check with our research partner and report back if I have an update.

Hi George,

I have verified 100's of cropped  images and google was able to clearly identify those images except this. Wondering why its ignoring just this image.

FYI :

It even able to identify GrayScale Image from the web against the Color image.

Hi Nirmal, our research partner has confirmed that Quimby does detect crops. However, the detection is sensitive to small variations in the query image and so sometimes the detection doesn't identify matches when it should. We're aware of the issue and are working on it.
