Web Entities Detection in Google Vision is not working?

Hi,

Just wondering if WEB_DETECTION feature of Google Vision API is not working as 20-Oct-2021.

It is giving back "Internal server error. Error processing features."

The other features are working fine.

I have already verified that currently there isn't any known internal issue that is affecting the WEB_DETECTION feature.

To further investigate this setback, I would need you to provide:

1. Your project ID, so that I can analyse your logs (please, respond in private to avoid sensitive information issues)

2. The request you are making.

3. The client libraries you are using, with its version.

4. The type of file you are trying to annotate, and its resolution?

5. Please describe your use case, i.e. how are you calling the API, other products that you are using in your setup, etc.

6. I understand that this feature was working as expected before 20th Oct, could you please confirm this?

7. Are you getting any "output.json" files which contains the error message (such as "error": {"code": 13, "message": "Internal Error.") that you can share?

8. You provided "Google vision error : code: 13 message: "Internal server error. Error processing features." as the API error message, is this the full API response message? If not, can you provide the full API response message?

9. Is this issue intermittent or permanent?

It happened from 2pm-7pm AEST, but its back now.

Sorry if I was not able to provide more info, but is there like a status page for Google Vision APIs?

It is great to know that your issue was resolved. As far as I understand, you can only check the status from the products present in [1], which doesn't include Vision API.

Not a problem. But it would be really good if there is a live status check for Vision API and its features. Thanks
