Hi,

We already have a flow built in our app using (image based) cloud vision. We now want to expand from images to videos and wondering if there are advantages in using the video specific API for this, or can we just divide different video frames into images and use the cloud vision API to analyze them. Anyone has any experience with both APIs and can share? Thanks!

Hello Yael,

The API for video detection is Video Intelligence API. Whether to use Vision API on frames in your video or use Video Intelligence API on the entire video, it depends on what you want to detect. Please review these docs to [1] [2] compare what each API can do and determine by your needs.
