Request for Help on - No response

Hi Friends,

My research team is using Video Intelligence API to detect shot label annotations of 2075 city promotion videos posted on YouTube in 2020 by city promotion associations of local government in Japan.  We have succeeded in detecting shot label annotations of 2051 videos (please see the attached "Successful responses"), but, for some reason, we could not receive any response of 24 videos (please see the attached "No responses").

Are there any ideas to receive the missing responses of the 24 videos?

It would be highly appreciated if anyone could give us your any advice on this.

Hello Hiroichi,

Can you separately test one or more of the videos that returned no response? This will tell whether they might have some specifics (possibly they produce no meaningful labels).
You might also try to improve the detection accuracy for them by specifying some particular parameters like stationary_camera.

Check also (1) the "videointelligence.googleapis.com" logs of your project for any errors / warnings, (2) the quota page (IAM -> Quotas) to see if you might be hitting any relevant quotas and (3) the Monitoring -> Metric explorer -> Consumed API & Request count to see any particular response code from the service.

Unfortunately, although my team has tested what you advised us, it has not generated any responses; no changes from the previous status.
If you have any other tips, it would be highly appreciated. No matter what tips would be helpful to us!

I would like to inform you that Groups is meant for general questions support. the issue that you are facing with Video Intelligence API is a specific one and needs more details and to be reported to engineering.

I will recommend you to open a public issue tracker [1], to provide a description of the issue with reproduction steps and to share the video samples as well. Note that there is no ETA to have a response by engineering and if the video that you are sharing have any PII, please mark the PIT as private.
