object detection on live streaming video

I have queries related to aistreamer and gstreamer, like from the official doc i understood that we need to build docker image first and then make a connection between aistreamer and gstreamer using a named pipe , but while building image from a dockerfile given on github, easy_install pip command is not working so facing some image building issues , can you help me regarding this like if we want to do object detection in a live streaming video from the ip camera,  what are the proper steps in order which i should follow so that i can detect objects from live streaming video and do real analytics on it . Please mention services which will be required to do this on google cloud platform .

Hi, 

If you mean this Dockerfile, it might be because easy_install is deprecated, and might be failing when trying to install `pip`.  To install `pip` you can replace `easy_install pip` in this line with `apt install -y python-pip`.

To work with live streaming video it is recommended to review this documentation first to understand the relationships between AIStreamer, GStreamer and Cloud Video Intelligence API. And to start using AIStreamer for object detection you can follow these examples.
