Please come and join us for this coming meeting at 1600-1700 UTC on Wednesday 25th February 2026, where we plan to continue deploying an example Canonical Observability Stack (COS) instance based on information from the tutorials and documentation. This session will pick up where the last session left off: an AWS instance hosting the COS server side, and a VirtualBox VM hosting the robot side.
Last session, we started working through the documentation for setting up both a COS server instance and a robot instance. Unfortunately, the recording cut out shortly into the meeting due to lack of disk space. After this point, we switched to hosting in AWS and were able to host a COS instance, although it was misconfigured and the robot was unable to connect. If you're interested to watch the recorded part of the meeting, it is available on YouTube.
The meeting link for next meeting is here, and you can sign up to our calendar or keep an eye on ROS Discourse or Cloud Robotics Hub for meeting notifications.
Hopefully we will see you there!
