For this coming session on 28th Jan 2028 1600-1700 UTC, the CRWG has invited Guillaume Beuzeboc from Canonical to present on the Canonical Observability Stack (COS). COS is a general observability stack for devices such as drones, robots, and IoT devices. It operates from telemetry data, and the COS team has extended it to support robot-specific use cases. Guillaume, a software engineer at Canonical, previously presented COS at ROSCon 2025 and has kindly agreed to join this meeting to discuss additional technical details with the CRWG.
At the previous meeting, the CRWG continued its review of the ROSCon 2025 talks, focusing on identifying the sessions most relevant to Logging and Observability. A blog post summarizing our findings will be published in the coming weeks. If you would like to watch the latest review meeting, it is available on YouTube.
The meeting link for next meeting is here, and you can sign up to our calendar or keep an eye on ROS Discourse or Cloud Robotics Hub for meeting notifications.
Hopefully we will see you there!
