Unable to read pubsub topic using Apache Beam with python and directrunner

I am in the need of preparing an POC for an urgent requirement.

I would like to read message from pubsub topic and simply print in console.

but the code what i am using is throughs an error.

AttributeError: 'SubscriberGrpcTransport' object has no attribute 'channel'

can you help on this.

But the same code if i try from colab notebook the error is different.

TypeError: create_subscription() takes from 1 to 2 positional arguments but 3 were given
