Connecting to local Google pubsub-emulator with the gcloud command tool

I find that, even if I start the emulator and the $PUBSUB_EMULATOR_HOST variable is correctly defined, I have to manage it programatically.

Is there a way/tool to manage local pubsub-emulator?

Hello Daniel, could you please further detail what you mean by "managing" the local Pub/Sub emulator? Which operations/actions would you expect the ability to perform without programming? What form would this tool take? (Command line, GUI...)

I'm not sure I understand the question, but perhaps the problem is the one captured in https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/63608497 ?
