I'm not a "standards guy", and this is all quite new to me, so I'd
like to reach out to each of you that have gracefully become involved
in this discussion. I'm planning on sending personal invitations to a
variety of folks that I would like to see involved in the effort, but
what are some other ways we can reach others interested in cloud
payload description, service acquisition and payload deployment?

I know that Chris Hoff has done an excellent job of "rallying the
troups" around the A6 effort (see ), and I think he did a lot of
groundwork there, including writing a few blog posts. I plan to do
more posts on pCard and this group, but do some of you write blogs
that might spread the word to interested techies/vendors/enterprises?

Any ideas and/or help will be greatly appreciated.

I blog on virtualisation and Cloud (made it into the top 5 blog posts
award for last week http://blogs.vmware.com/vmtn/2010/01/top-5-planet-v12n-blog-posts-week-04.html).

I will see if I can get a post out this week on pCard.

Have you hit up anyone at VMware on this to get some buy-in? There are
a few people who would be good to contact.

Yes, the Hoff is good at rallying the troops. Thats only because
everyone is scared of him since he punched up Vint Cerf.
