'conditionNotMet' : Precondition not met for 'entity.change.deletions[0]'

Hi,

For a domain, each time i want to change a record i get this error.

Any clue how to proceed ?

Hi Jos, to change a ResourceRecordSet you must set change.deletions to the current contents of the ResourceRecordSet for example as returned by a ResourceRecordSets list operation. It must match exactly or the change creation request will return a precondition error.

I'm using the https://console.cloud.google.com web console to make changes.  Can i have done something wrong with the "gcloud dns" cli in order to trigger this error while using the web console ?

There is a known issue changing/deleting records in the UI when the TTL is set to zero.

If this affects you, then you can workaround by changing those ResourceRecordSets via the API or CLI.
