Dear Google Cloud DNS users,

Back in June, we announced that an active billing account is required to use Google Cloud DNS. However, in order to avoid customer impact during this transition, Google Cloud DNS has continued to serve DNS queries for zones belonging to projects that have not enabled billing or whose associated billing accounts are not in good standing.

Starting September 30th 18:00:00 UTC 2014, the grace period will end and Google Cloud DNS will stop serving DNS queries for such zones. To avoid an interruption in service, please verify the billing status of your project in the Google Developers Console. To do this, select each project that uses Google Cloud DNS and then select "Billing & Settings" in the left navigation column. If you see an "Enable Billing" button, click on it and follow the prompts to set up your billing account. If instead you see a link to an associated billing account, click on it and ensure there is no past-due balance. Please contact Google Cloud Platform Billing Support if you have any questions or concerns about the billing status of your account.

Thanks!

Best Regards,
- Google Cloud DNS Team
