Data lineage in GCP

Is there any service offering from GCP for data lineage? If not, is it expected in near future?

What does GCP recommend to achieve data lineage? Should we install Apache Atlas kind of products on GCP for data lineage?

I feel the clarity is missing for addressing the concerns of data analytics stages in GCP. Please help with more information.

On the open-source side of things, the Cloud Dataproc team is evaluating how OSS components, like Atlas, can be integrated with GCP. We don't have a specific timeline to share, but it's something the Cloud Dataproc team is actively evaluating.
