Security researchers uncover serious Amazon Web Services vulnerabilities

MIT Technology Review reports that security researchers at Ruhr
University uncovered serious flaws in EC2 client controls.

The problems, now reportedly fixed, would have enabled someone with
malicious intent to bypass cryptographic controls to enable access to
data and control of virtual computers.
