Job Description

Seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, manage, secure, and optimize enterprise-scale Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure services, cloud networking, security, disaster recovery, monitoring, cloud migrations, and production support within mission-critical environments.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Administration and Infrastructure Management.
• Experience implementing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Azure resources, networking, and security policies.
• Expertise in Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), NSG, Load Balancers, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Azure Security Services.
• Experience planning and executing on-premises to Azure cloud migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity, and High Availability solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments and troubleshooting critical infrastructure issues.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Workbooks, Alerts, and Observability solutions.
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation tools such as Tenable.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Firewalls, and Network Security.
• Experience working with enterprise applications built on .NET, Java, SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and related technologies.
• Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and communicate effectively with management and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Azure Certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.).
• Networking Certifications (CCNA, Network+, etc.).
• Experience working within large government or enterprise environments.

Important Notes:

• Local Virginia candidates highly preferred.
• In-Person Interview Required (No Exceptions).
• Must be comfortable working onsite in Mechanicsville, VA.
• Excellent communication skills are mandatory.
