Big Data analytics is used generate actionable insights. Since most of the business transactions are happening on digital platform, the type and range of data available for analysis is wide and varied. The range of application of Big Data analytics is also equally wide.
One of such area where Big data can make contribution is in help predicting security threats. Every day millions of transaction happen in various domains such as financial and travel. Often malicious acts can be launched by hackers. It is a great challenge to keep track of all transaction and detect any such potential malicious attack among those millions of transactions.
However with appropriate tools and right combination of approaches and analysis- Big data analytics can track trends in security breaches and allow enterprises to proactively go after threats before they strike
