Google Adwords API Connector

Hi,

after searching GitHub and the web I was wondering if anyone has already a stub of code for connecting Airflow / Cloud Composer to the Google Ads API's? (We are still on a previous release of Cloud Composer so bear with me if it has made it already into the mainline.)

Our use case is pushing remarketing lists [0].

Just commenting your post to say that this kind of stuff will interest us as well as far as our strategy is to centralise everything regarding data collection under airflow/composer then BQ. Would be pretty nice to have such a connector.

I am not aware of any public examples, but it should be possible. Ideally we'd have native Operators and Sensors for the Google products people use regularly. As the Composer team works within the AIrflow community, this is something we'll try to do. Emails like this are really helpful because knowing what specifically people use, and how, is good information.

We are working on a rudimentary plugin right now, my obstacle is that apparently the AdWords team advises against using service accounts [0] (and I don't really get why) - so the OAUTH2 path has to be taken and this makes it a bit trickier. In the end it's just the hook underneath that is harder, a soon as the authentication is working we are good to go.

I am currently running a workflow that uploads conversions into adwords using Cloud Composer.

I am authenticating with a User account but will switch to service accounts early next year.
