Is it possible to turn on and off Google Composer Environment

Hi All,

We have a Development and Production Google Composer Environment.

We are on Composer 2.0. 

We use the Development Composer Environment ONLY for Testing purpose and we don't want it to be  up and running all the time.

Is there any way to turn off the Development Composer Environment, when we are not using it and likewise turn it on, when we want to use it. Pretty much "ON-DEMAND" Service.

Is this possible to do ? If anyone has done this, please respond, how you did this.

If this is NOT possible, what other options do we have to turn it off and on, so we can do some cost savings.

Hi Sree,

It's not possible to turn off and then turn on the Composer 2 environment.

What you could do is to:

a) create Composer 2 environment

b) take a snapshot

c) delete Composer 2 environment 

e) create a new Composer 2 environment

d) load a snapshot to restore configuration of the previous environment.
