Trying to figure out Microsoft Azure PUE

Hi everyone,

I'm doing research on cloud environmental impacts and discovered your tool.

First let me congratulate everyone who contributes to this awesome project. I think it's an important step toward global transparency.

I went throught your methodology and wondered how you got your estimation of average PUE for Microsoft Azure. I did some research only and didn't find much on this subject (either outdated or limited information).

I was wondering if you could help me on this question.

Hi Lucas, 

Microsoft's sustainability team provided us with a statement as to their PUE, which you can read in this section of the methodology.

We decided to select their weighted owned and operated fleet-wide PUE trailing 12-month average of 1.185.
