Hi CCF Team,

We are using AWS "Create Report" feature to create the Report, Load it into Athena and then CCF tool queries it to get the data and convert it into footprint and emissions.

I am getting the emission after creating the report. But the AWS Create Report feature only generated the Report starting from the day we generated it. I have asked AWS support also and they agree that the Create Report  feature gives data only from date it is generated and not of back date.

Now if i want to get the emissions/footprints for back date say last year, how to create that report which is compatible with athena and the one which CCF can query.  There is no process in the CCF documentation regarding that for AWS.

Please help on this as this is important for checking the improvements from past emissions to now.

Thanks,
Shreyansh Jain

Hi Shreyansh Jain,

Can you please confirm if the AWS Create Report feature you are referring to is the same as generating a Cost and Usage Report? If so, what we suggest as far as backfilling the data (and what we have been able to do internally) is reach out to AWS for support and request that they assist in backfilling the CUR data prior to the report's creation to whichever start date you request.

Thanks,
CCF Team

Hello, our suggestion here is similar to what we stated above about AWS. Google support would be the best assistance for backfilling the Billing Export Table results.
