Save files contain IPL flags that enable and disable map objects in the game.
The order of the IPL flags is determined by the models\gta3.img file being used when the game is saved.
This site cannot detect your IPL version for you.
Saves will work regardless of which version of gta3.img you use, however there may be glitches, such as road barriers to other cities still appearing after they should have been removed.
You can check which version of gta3.img you are using by checking it's file size or checksum. If your gta3.img doesn't match either of these, then your gta3.img is likely modded.

City BarriersStory Barriers: City barriers will be enabled or disabled depending on mission completion.
Disabled Barriers: City barriers will be removed regardless of mission completion.

Recommended: Find out which version of gta3.img you have or leave unmodified.

Traveling outside of the bounds of the game's main map can cause zone information in the save file to become corrupt, leading to some glitches, such as taxi fares not appearing, map areas being labeled incorrectly, or the Mike Toreno mission not progressing properly.
The zone information is the same across all unmodded games.

More Info

This fixes a glitch that occurs if the player dies during the phone call after the King in Exile cutscene. If this happens, the player will be softlocked because the King in Exile mission is complete, but the end of the phone call unlocks the next mission and updates the map markers. This fix will reset King in Exile, allowing the player to trigger it and the phone call again.

Reloading an earlier save is preferred if possible, as this fix is currently experimental and should be a last resort.

Recommended: "Yes" if detected.

Thank you! I did not know what I could share save files (i'm a computer noob). Is the next mission (N.O.E.) just as hard as the flying school missions? I looked it up on youtube and it looks like I will struggle with all the flying missions... I appreciate the help from both of you, ArmanCan and Stahli.

I started playing the GTA SA definitive edition, just like I used to play GTA SA old school. But I get stuck at the same mission again (Flight School, Learning to Fly). What I did in the past is use a save file from the internet for the mission after Learning to Fly and continue. Is this still possible? I cannot find any definitive edition save files online for now.

These are v1 game saves for all the mission in San Andreas. I used zmoonchild's The Ultimate Game Start, so all the possible side missions are completed from the start. No cheats were used while completing these missions. If you found any errors/mistakes/problems let me know.

PLEASE, feel free to Post any Mission Saves (with no Wasted/Busted stats) LINKS, that are permanently Hosted. Include the mission title that is currently completed, and any other relevant detail, like version number. that may help the Player to chose your save.

Specifically I want to skip the flight school missions. I did the first 2 easily enough but turning the plane is just an exercise in idiocy. I love the game and would like to finish it, but I have absolutely zero interest in learning to fly using their flight control system or flight model.

Someone said there is one more flying mission right after the flight school so a save game after that is good. Then apparently theres a really tough flight mission later. Not sure how to handle that. Maybe I just need a save game after that point? Are there many missions in between that would get skipped?

According to the Gamefaqs walk through I want a save right after the N.O.E. mission and also after the Freefall mission. Those are the only mandatory flight missions after flight school from what I can tell: the other flight missions IIRC are optional.

I had the same problem couldn't complete the flight mission....but my friend told me that you need to download the save file of the flight school from internet and then Copy the file to data -> com.rockstargames.gtasa -> files -> here

The Hashbury Safehouse is one of the few save points on this list that requires payment. GTA San Andreas players can buy it for $40,000. However, it must be done after the mission, "Are You Going to San Fierro?"

In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, there are 37 save points (the most in any Grand Theft Auto game) that Carl Johnson can acquire. These are divided into story save points, which are granted to Carl as he progresses through the storyline, and safe houses, which are save points with added amenities that Carl may purchase after unlocking them by completing certain missions. All safe houses are needed for 100% completion of the the game (contributing 15% of the total), costing a total of $879,000.

There are eight main save points and safehouses that are made available to Carl as he completes missions in the game's story. All are free of charge with one exception. These may or may not be inside an enclosed structure, and most consist of no more than a save icon and, in certain safe points, a usable garage. Only the Johnson House has a wardrobe. Although the player can choose to make any safehouse a "home base" during various chapters of the game, the game storyline will generally place these save points as key "home base" locations, particularly the Johnson House, Doherty Garage and the Abandoned AC Tower.

Save games after every mission for a V2 version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. No mods/cheats.
I was creating some saves for V2 of the game as they're useful to me, and uploaded them in case anyone else wants them for whatever purpose.
