The goog.labs namespace was started to newer/experimental APIs could live there to start with and, when mature, move to the top-level namespace.

A lot of the APIs implemented there, however, have lived there for a while and it might be best to move them to the top-level or deprecate them.

This post is to spur discussion on the future of this namespace and the process while developing newer APIs.
