mailing list woes

Hi all,

We've been having some problems with googlegroups. Normally, when the
mailing list gets a message from someone who has never posted to the
list before, the message goes into the spam queue and groups sends me
an email asking me to approve the message. Over the last 2 weeks, it
stopped sending me those emails, and the messages just sat in the
queue. This was a bug in groups, and it was fixed this morning.

sorry about this. I went thru the queue and posted all the pending
messages. Hopefully there will be a more formal explanation of how
this happened.
